From the deck of the prestigious Le Yacht Club-Beirut, the reputable Nicolas Audi launched officially its food and beverage concept for this members only Club.
On July 19, 2017, public figures, media, club members and members of the Board of Directors gathered to celebrate the official reveal of Nicolas Audi's unrivaled recipes to be served at the Club Food & Beverage outlets (Bar, Pool deck and Restaurant).
Known for his dedication to culinary excellence and immaculate service, Nicolas Audi spent almost one year engineering a tailor made menu that would fit a prestigious address as Le Yacht Club Beirut and would meet the sophisticated club members', main clientele, expectations in their search for refinement, top notch quality and excellence in service.
Guests were extremely appreciative of the warm welcome they have received besides experiencing a culinary journey into Nicolas Audi's world of refined taste and flavors.It is worth mentioning that Nicolas Audi only address in Beirut will be at Le Yacht Club Beirut.

Whisky Live Beirut celebrates a successful first edition as it brings the world’s finest whiskies to Lebanon (Posted on 29.12.2016)
Beirut welcomed the first edition of the internationally renowned Whisky Live event on the 2nd and 3rd of December 2016 at Zaitunay Bay's iconic Le Yacht Club Beirut. As a new and exciting concept for the Lebanese market and the region as a whole, the event opened in the presence of trade, whisky lovers, international experts and the media. Organized by Hospitality Services, more than 1,500 whisky connoisseurs and enthusiasts attended the prestigious show of fine whiskies from around the world. Single malts, bourbons, Scotch and Irish whiskies featured in a huge section spanning 500 square meters. Visitors enjoyed a rare opportunity to sample limited edition whiskies as more than 40 international whisky brands gathered including Glenmorangie, Johnnie Walker, Kavalan, Nikka, The Dalmore, Jura, Kilchoman, Hine, Appleton, Nomad, Chivas, Jameson, Glenfiddich, The Balvenie, Grant's, Monkey Shoulder, Cutty Sark, Glenmoris and Lauder's. An interactive symposium of live sessions, tastings and over 25 master classes with global brand ambassadors featured on the high-caliber event program. Two sections for avid collectors, the VIP Room and Collector's Room, showcased the most exclusive bottles. Guests in the Collector's Room were able to sample sought after bottles including Karuizawa 50 years 1965 Sherry Cask and Karuizawa 50 years 1965 Bourbon Cask, with whisky expert Marlene Leon from Maison du Whisky France. In the VIP Room, Neil Ridley, one of the UK's most recognized spirit experts and editor-in chief of Whisky Magazine, hosted a series of master classes where attendees were able to taste rare and unique bottles. In addition, a selection of brown spirits including rums and Cognac were also on display and a huge selection of the Whisky Live spirits were available for purchase at The Malt Gallery's pop-up store. The event was catered by Nicolas Audi. Serving as a reference for the whisky industry, Lebanon becomes the 18th country in the world to host Whisky Live, after countries such as Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, France, India, Japan, Singapore and the UK. Le Yacht Club-Beirut was inaugurated on April 24, 2014 under the patronage and in the presence of his excellency President Michel Sleiman, accompanied by some officials Messrs Samir Mokbel, Deputy Prime Minister, Michel Pharaon, Minister of Tourism, and Nazem El Khoury, advisor to the president to cite a few. Were also present members of the Board of Directors of Beirut Waterfront Development sal, the owning and developing Joint venture between Stow and Solidere, Messrs Mohamad Safadi, Walid Daouk, Dr. Ghaleb Mahmassani, Mounir Douaidy, Raphael Sabbagha and Farouk Kamal.
The official ceremony was followed by a gala dinner attended by a hundred and fifty club members who were able to enjoy an enchanting night by the pool deck.
Le Yacht Club-Beirut is considered to be the second and last phase of the ambitious development project undertaken by BWD few years ago, knowing that phase 1, Zaitunay Bay, was inaugurated back in December 2011.
